Cowgirl Halloween costumes by Web Resources

Tired of being a dainty princess this Halloween? Be a cowgirl instead, like Jessie from Toy Story.

Cowgirls are fun, free, and wild at heart. They love to explore the Great Outdoors, aren't squeamish about worms, very brave but won't harm a thing. Everything a princess can't and won't do. (That's why princesses miss out on a lot of fun, and why cowgirls take it all for themselves.)

Being a cowgirl isn't as easy as simply donning cowgirl Halloween costumes though. You can wear your cowgirl hat, a red bandanna or kerchief knotted around your neck, checkered long-sleeves, a vest, jeans, a pair of boots, and a coil of rope at your belt, but being a true cowgirl takes balls. Lots of it. Cowgirl Halloween costumes get you in the mood, they give you that necessary cowgirl mindset, but you have to do the rest of the legwork to be one authentic cowgirl.

How exactly do you make the most of Cowgirl Halloween costumes? Read on.

1. As a cowgirl, kick up some dust.
Good if there's dust around, if not, leaves then. Kicking up some dust can also mean just being one spirited, lively cowgirl. Be the leader of the pack. Be the loudest.

2. Say Howdy!
Be a courteous cowgirl and say Howdy when the door opens. Then get your loot bag ready because cowgirls are always rewarded and welcome. Exclaiming Yee-ha! is optional.

3. Chew gum.
Definitely for effect, but getting busy with a piece of gum gives you that spunky, confident cowgirl look.

4. Texan drawl, anyone?
If you can manage the accent, then go with it. If not, you can watch lots of cowgirl (and cowboy) DVDs to get the accent right. Trust me, cowgirl Halloween costumes look more authentic with the accent, and best of all, you're having fun at the same time.

5. Tip your hat.
Whether you got a fat bounty or a lean reward, tip that cowgirl hat of yours. Part of being a courteous cowgirl.

Cowgirl creative Halloween costume are definitely fun to wear. Not everyone can be a cowgirl, remember. It's only once in a year fragile little darlings can dress up as one and be as tough and hardened for the Great Outdoors.
